David Burrough BA

David is the Partner in charge of the Tourism and Hospitality Division of the firm. He was admitted to practice in 1981 and has practiced almost exclusively in the areas of Tourism and Hospitality law, advising on all legal issues affecting hotels, motels, management rights and caravan parks. Consequently, he is one of the most experienced practitioners in this field of law in Queensland and New South Wales.

David’s expertise has been applied to a wide range of transactions, ranging from complex international hotel acquisitions to rural and regional tourist facilities. His extensive knowledge of the motel industry has led to his motel lease becoming one of the most widely-used in the industry.

David has conducted many industry seminars and is a regular contributor to industry publications.
