With 30 years' experience in the legal profession, Karen brings qualifications in both law and practice management to her role as General Manager of Hillhouse.
From legal assistant to criminal lawyer, with a progressive transition into law firm management, her career affords a unique perspective that she applies to all aspects of practice support.
Karen's key areas of specialisation include people and culture, risk management and compliance, automation of workflow and IT projects. She is driven to design systems that deliver superior legal services with a focus on client care, efficiency and proactive communication.

Karen sits on the Queensland Law Society Practice Management Course committee, the Queensland branch and National Learning and Development committees of the Australasian Legal Practice Management Association (ALPMA) and is a member of the Women Lawyers' Association of Queensland.
